Comment: This weeks theme is Shoes. I didn’t want to post a literal interpretation of the theme, so I started thinking, “What could I find for the theme of Shoes?”. Then I remembered that My Pastor and his wife call each other shoes, their email address even used to be shoebox. So I had a quick chat with them this morning and they agreed for a photo of my pastor to feature for today’s theme. So here is Pastor Shoes :-)

    I thought it was quite cute that they call each other shoes. I don’t recall whether they explained why, except that they wanted nick names for each other, like honey or darling, but different. :-)
    You usually hear them speak to each other saying “my shoes” this or “my shoes” that. And the shoebox email address was brilliant.

    A great twist for todays theme. I’ve used the term “old boot” before when referring to someone, including me, hahaha, but never shoe.

    I spoke to my pastors wife this morning at church and got the answer why they call each other shoes.
    There is apparently a term of endearment “baby shoes”. My pastor and his wife used to call each other this until they shortened it to just shoes.
