” to me”, “my God” is ….
I was thinking about what I should post today and was scanning the blogosphere for something which I can comment on. While scanning the blogosphere, I was watching a program called “the Way of the Master” which is a program by Pastor Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. It is a really awesome series which helps Christians understand the importance of sharing their faith. I am not saying that we should all go out and tell everyone about Jesus (although those were Jesus’ words in the great commission, but that is another discussion and will come down to pretty much what I am saying now) What I am saying is that in every single thing we do, we need to be an example to those who do not have salvation.
Idolatry
I chose my title of this post because of the second commandment, “You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”
If someone says to you that “to them God cannot judge them, because their god is a god of peace and love and he could never create Hell.” They are 100% correct their god cannot create Heaven because he does exist. They have created a god which conforms to their understanding of God, they have fashioned a god which they are comfortable with. This is exacly what God meant in the second commandment, we are not to love anything more than we love God for risk of creating an idol out of that thing.
This was a pretty big message for me and it is going to be a difficult one to live by.
Blog network
On a different note I mentioned earlier about a blog network, and thought I would give you a little bit of an update. Things are looking up for the network, I have some software I am currently testing and so far it is looking pretty slick. I will upload the software as long as I can fully test each phase of the software.
I will need about an hour total site downtime when I am happy to implement it, but I will warn you a little closer to the time.
I am JMR and this is My Little Corner on JMRPub.com
