Recovering Introvert - The First test

Posted in General, Recovering Introvert

Well I found a personality test on the internet. Now I don’t have much faith in the accuracy of these things but this might be something which I can use to measure my recovery :-)

Below are my results, and the link if you want to get your own test.

I am JMR and this is My Little Corner on JMRPub.com

    Mine came out as this:

    O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O ______________________________________________________________________

    Global Personality Test Results

    Stability |||||||||||||||||| 80%
    Orderliness |||||||||||| 46%
    Extraversion |||||||||||||||||| 80%

    Stability results were high which suggests you are very relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic..

    Orderliness results were medium which suggests you are moderately organized, hard working, and reliable while still remaining flexible, efficient, and fun.

    Extraversion results were high which suggests you are overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense too often of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

    ______________________________________________________________________

    O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O

    Anyway shouldn’t that word be extroversion ?

    Hmmm, Francois, extraverted to the expense of other people, interesting :-)

    I suppose the spelling depends on whether you are an extrovert or an extravert. According to the dictionary, an Extrovert is a word influenced by Introvert and is in fact an alternative spelling to the word extravert.
    So they are both one and the same.

    I remember doing psychometric tests after being employed by the corporation I am currently working for. Among those tests was the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator of which I was rated as an ENTP. You can check out more about your profile (assuming the test was accurate) here: ISTP. These profiles do change over time however, but being labeled a “visionary” does have a ring to it don’t you think?

    The “profiles” change over time only in the sense thatn less instinctively preferred functions are used more often and we become familiar with them. You “type” does not change….that is good really. We just use all behaviors, those we naturaly prefer, and those we don’t.

    The problems begin when we engage in activities requiring use of less preferred functions too much….whatever “too much” is, and is different for all of us….but a knowledge of type can help figure allot of things out such as who to love, where to work, why I can’t stand him, her, etc….. and much more!
    All the best!
