So I totally messed up on Blog Action Day, I thought it was the 15th already and posted my Poverty post on the 14th. Oops
Anyway I don’t think it is too major a trainsmash, I still took part and showed my support for the initiative. That doesn’t mean that poverty goes away, it just means that life goes on and I will now try and think more towards how I can help.
I am now sitting at home in bed, having gotten really sick yesterday at work. I am not sure what brought it on, probably some random bug, but I was not feeling great at all yesterday. Problem is you lay in bed cause thats what you are supposed to do when you are sick and you get unbelievably bored. And in your boredom you start thinking, hey I feel good, not sick anymore, so you hop outta bed and bam, your head starts spinning your legs are aching and you feel extremely weak. So much for feeling better.
So in my boredom I start on the You Tube videos and reading random blogs and one video in particular gives me this giggle. Its a video about a guy preaching on a verse in the bible that says “I will destroy him that pisseth against the wall”. Now I couldn’t find the exact verse but my Libronix tells me that the word “pisseth” actually occurs 6 times, no kidding, here are the verses 1 Samuel 25:22, 1 Samuel 25:34, 1 Kings 14:10, 1 Kings 16:11, 1 Kings 21:21, 2 Kings 9:8. Now other translations show these verses with the word “male” but King James Version has the interesting phrase mentioned above. Now I wouldn’t base my theology on this guys isogesis but it is a pretty funny video so I will give you a chance to view it now.
Interestingly or oddly enough my gmail decided I might be interested in this story about a boxer who uses his three year old sons soiled nappies to keep the swelling down in his hands… Go figure.

So I have this friend who is studying anthropology, now I have never gone into detail with her as to what exactly anthropology is, but today I found a video which is really interesting called “An anthropological introduction to YouTube”. The guy presenting has done a really good job describing one of the elements of Web 2.0. He speaks about how the second version of the web is less about the technology of the internet and more about the people of the internet.
It started me thinking about the people that read my blog, I have had quite a few of my friends comment on my writing and this has sort of convicted me that I don’t spend much time on my blog. It is fairly difficult coming up with new unique content so I want you guys to help. I would like you guys to comment on my posts and let me know what you would like me to write about or if you read something you enjoy, then let me know to give you more of it.
Well here is the video for your viewing pleasure, remember to comment if you enjoy it.

Well with the new year here some people may have made some resolutions that they should go to church more often. However it is not always easy to fit in at church, so the guys over at Bluefish TV have a handy instructional video to help everyone fit into any church. These tips are good, everyone should check over them even if you have been in church for a while.

I do believe my focus was a little off the true reason that we celebrate Christmas this year due to some other issues which were clouding my mind. I really found this video pretty convicting, so I wanted to post it here to show everyone how the world normally treats the reason for the season.
Since Christmas is over, I will wish my readers a Blessed new year.

Well the world cup champions, the South African Springboks, made it back to SA and bought with them a rather shiny thing called the World Cup trophy. Many people hung around the airport for a glimpse of them arriving, even one of our local pastors (pictured below). For full video footage click on through to CNN.
To cheer those up who are not Springbok fans, (especially those who supported the English ), here is a pretty funny video. I wouldn’t base your End Times Theology on it, but it is well done and pretty funny.

So I was preparing for Bible study the other night, trying to find some free gospel tract ice breakers, and I stumbled on a site where the guy had a video of himself showing all his tracts that are for sale. So I watched the video and it kinda looked like a You Tube video but it said GodTube in the corner. I thought that’s interesting and typed in www.GodTube.com and lo’ and behold there was a Christian video host, equivalent (albeit a bit buggy on the interface) to You Tube.
So here is my first embeded God Tube video, check it out

Guys I need some help, I am looking for information on cajon (ka-hon) drumming. I am looking for tutorials on how to play, and also how to build one. If you don’t know what a cajon drum is then check out this video.
After I posted yesterday I looked for more videos from the EDS commercial series, this one had me on the floor.
